Virginia Center for Civil War Studies

Research grants

The Virginia Center for Civil War Studies offers research grants, in conjunction with Virginia Tech’s Special Collections, providing honoraria to enable researchers to visit Special Collections and conduct Civil War-related research.

We are no longer accepting applications for 2018-19 grants. We expect to offer the grants again for the 2019-2020 academic year. Please check back in early 2019 for next year’s application.
