BLACKSBURG, VA., July 21, 2008 -- Virginia Tech Alumni Distinguished Professor of History James Robertson, director of the Virginia Center for Civil War Studies, will be featured on "With Good Reason," a half-hour radio program airing on Virginia's public radio stations.
Robertson will discuss items we take for granted today--such as left and right shoes and canned food--that resulted from the Civil War.
The program will air on the following dates:
- Sunday, July 27, at 12:30 a.m. on WAMU in Northern Virginia.
- Sunday, July 27, at 1:30 p.m. on Radio IQ in Southwest Virginia.
- Wednesday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m. on WVTF in Southwest Virginia.
